Overview
The Manesar Bawal Investment Region (MBIR) is proposed as a major new industrial hub and is about 82 km south-west of NCT of Delhi.
The designed site covers an area of about 402sq km includes existing Bawal Industrial Town and borders Rajasthan. The MBIR is the first investment region to be designated under the proposed Delhi – Mumbai Industrial Corridor project (DMIC), an initiative to create a linear zone of development along a Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) railway line. It is envisaged that the MBIR would become a major industrial centre, having direct connectivity with DFC and major National & State Highways.
