"The participation of industries in the Auric Industrial Estate at Shendra and Bidkin is enthusiastic, and the government is committed to giving them maximum facilities. Similarly, all formalities will be completed by implementing a zero-corruption and zero-delay system. The industries should start operations immediately and generate employment," opined Union Commerce and Industries Minister Piyush Goyal.

Goyal interacted with representatives of the industrial organizations at the Auric City Hall on Wednesday. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Bhagwat Karad, MLA Anuradha Chavan, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation CEO P. Belarasu, Bhartiya Uddyog Mahasangh official Rishikumar Bagla, Rashtriya Audyogic Margika Vikas Mahamandal CEO Rajatkumar Saini, Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) president Arpit Save, Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) president Chetan Raut, industrialist Ram Bhogale, and others were present.

The officers informed the audience through a video presentation that the Auric Industrial Estate is a successful industrial estate, where modern facilities are provided to the industries. Under the Prime Minister Gatishakti National Plan, facilities like roads, railways, and air travel will be made available. Similarly, high-speed highways, national highways, goods transportation, and domestic and international transportation will be made available. The industries have been provided with the facility of registration through a single-window system, through which the government aims for complete industrial development.

The representatives of the industries demanded that the industrial area be linked with skill development centres and training programmes.

Goyal then directed the officers to make a plan accordingly and implement it scrupulously. The industries and the government should come together to establish employment, residence, travel, and food facilities at Shendra and Bidkin. Educational and health facilities for workers and their family members should be developed. The areas that could not be developed during the Covid phase should be developed, and small-scale industries should be promoted. If the industries do not start operations within the stipulated time frame, the land will be taken back, Goyal said.
